Accountant/Bookkeeper/Office Manager

Since 1978, Lahaina Divers and Lahaina Dive and Surf have been providing Maui residents and visitors the best scuba diving experience in Hawaii’s most beautiful and remote locations. Our team of passionate professionals is looking for a highly motivated Bookkeeper & Office Manager.

The Position:
This position is at the center of our business as it manages day to day office operations and is responsible for accounting, payroll and some administrative human resources functions for 22 employees across three entities.

This position is responsible for AR and AP, compliance with federal, state and local laws, tax filing and payment, financial statements, payroll processing, new hire paperwork and benefits administration, permitting and licensing of the fleet per federal and state regulation. This position is also responsible for creating and maintaining positive and mutually rewarding working relationships with vendors, service providers, and local partners.

Position Requirements:
The right candidate has a college degree with an emphasis in accounting, a minimum of 5 years experience in accounting and office management or equivalent. Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, and Word is required to succeed in this opportunity as well and as an entrepreneurial and self-starter attitude. Must be located in Maui.
