Maintenance Technician:
Kokua Real Estate Services is seeking a reliable, responsible, experienced full-time crew member with a truck and tools to work for Maui's largest full-service property management company. Candidates must have good problem-solving skills, be able to communicate effectively and work well with other employees, tenants and vendors.
Requirements/Responsibilities Include:
Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation. Drug testing is required.
Responsibilities
The person in this position is responsible for performing general maintenance tasks including work orders, maintaining commercial and residential properties, curb appeal, amenities, and other common areas at one or more properties. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
• Performs maintenance projects and tasks with minimal supervision consistent with Company policy and direction from the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintains the highest level of customer service for prospects, residents, vendors, and tenants.
• Must have light construction skills and experience.
• Be able to paint, clean, do repair work and general property maintenance.
• Be able to repair and or replace light bulbs, broken door handles or locks.
• Report any issues with property or tenants to Property Manager.
• Painting of units or outside of building as needed.
• Keeping equipment and tools in good working condition.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One to two years industry or maintenance related experience
• Proficient knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair with hands on experience
• Available to be "on-call" when requested and promptly respond to work order requests during assigned periods
• Proven organizational and time management skills
• Valid driver license and automobile insurance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• May be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, pushing/pulling, lifting/moving/carrying (light to heavy weight material/appliances/ equipment), climbing ladders/stairs
ATTENDANCE
Position is full time Monday to Friday and occasionally on the weekends. It is critical that individuals possess the ability to work their scheduled hours plus any other hours necessary to complete the job. Work schedules and location assignments are subject to change.
Pay $16 - $20/hour DOE. Good benefits.
