Guest Room Attendant

The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing of the guest room while maintaining the high standards of cleanliness at the resort.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for the cleaning of guestrooms and service closets.
Vacuum carpets for all guests room units.
Cleaning glass tabletops and windows, dusting and polishing furniture.
Realign furniture to guestroom floor plan.
Inspect condition of all furniture for graffiti or stains report any damages to the Supervisor.
Update status of area cleaned on assignments sheet.
Replenish guestroom supplies and amenities.
Ensure security of assigned area and lock all doors.
Handle customer complaints by following the instant pacification procedures and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Report maintenance needs to the appropriate person/department.
Clean entrance floor immediately in front to guestroom door.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Follow all Housekeeping operating procedures.
Maintain effective communication within all departments.
Assist in maintaining and reducing department expenses (uniforms, supplies, damaged articles).
Report maintenance needs to the appropriate person/department.
Maintain a flexible work schedule.
Follow all safety procedures.
Perform all other job requests as assigned by management.
Must be able to maintain mobility and work in varying temperatures (Indoors and Outdoors)
