Maui's “first-ever” vintage costume shop open now!
Nai`a Newlight of Haiku, is pleased to announce the opening of a “popup” (short-term) shop, selling her renowned costume collection, in Wailuku town. Nai`a has frequently been seen volunteering for local non-profits, costumed in the theme of their fundraisers. She has also won acclaim at the Carnival of the Pacific in Lahaina, as well as the infamous costume contest at the old Manana Garage.
RAG QUEEN of MAUI (named after her shop in Paris in the 70s) will stock not only vintage costumes, but also Alohawear and party clothes, for men, women and keiki. Prices are very reasonable. “Many things will cost $4 and $9” says Newlight. The shop is located at 1942 Main Street, Wailuku (across from Subway), and will be open from 12pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday (closed for Veteran's Day), and 2pm to 6pm Saturdays, with an extra special opening until 8pm on First Fridays. Please stop by!
