From Hawaiian monk seals basking on the shore and sea turtles frolicking beneath the surf to the majestic breach of a humpback whale, stunning images of marine wildlife numbering in the hundreds were recently submitted to Pacific Whale Foundation’s (PWF) Whale of a Photo Contest.

From Sept. 21–25, YOU are invited to vote for your favorites among 12 finalists selected by a panel of PWF judges. Simply head to PacificWhale.org/calendar and choose the photo(s) you feel best exemplify the importance of marine conservation and PWF’s vital work in this area.

The photo with the most votes/donations will be declared the winner on Sept. 28 and will grace the cover of Pacific Whale Foundation’s inaugural 2021 Marine Life Calendar. Donations start at as little as $1 but, there is no limit on the number of votes per entry, so vote as much as you like for your favorite! The funds raised allow PWF to continue its current research projects and influence management practices and protection policies of our oceans’ delicate ecosystems.
