GRANDcares is a FREE 7 week program intended for grandparents, youth and children. The classes will be held at the Maui College Campus in the Community Service Building next to the Co-op Extension offices. GRANDcares is a project of the University of Hawaii Extension and offers classes and resources to grandparents raising grandchildren. The seven-week program begins on Thursdays March 19, 2020 through May 7, 2020 from 9:00 AM- 11:00 AM and includes separate programs for grandparents, youth and children. The GRANDcares Youth Club is a 4-H club designed for youth between ages 8 and 12 who are raised by a grandparent. Youth learn and practice tools that build leadership, stress management strategies and set and reach goals in a fun group activity way. The Youth club is from 2:30PM-5:00PM. The program is opened to all Grandfamilies, snacks are included. The program is free and registration is required.
