Come & join us at Legacy Reef Foundation for a great educational lecture & lab tour.

We are the only non-profit coral education lab on the Big Island and if you have ever wanted to know more about coral - what it is, how it feeds, where it lives, the problems it's currently experiencing and what you can do to help - this is the tour for you!

We will start the tour at 10.30 am in board room 208, which is on the second floor of the Hale Iako building at NELHA (end of the road, across from the octopus farm).

This event will involve an informative lecture and a tour of our lab, where we grow 3 species of local Hawaii corals. You will be led by Sandra Romer, our Director of Operations and Andrea Ehlers, our Lab Manager.

The lecture & tour will take ~ 90 mins in total.

Bring sunglasses & a hat for the lab (outside) portion of the tour and a pad & pen (if you like to take lecture notes).

There is a water fountain in the building, so bring your reusable bottle.
