Born and raised on Maui, Keali'i Reichel has achieved phenomenal recognition in Hawai‘i and internationally. His passion for the language and culture of Hawai‘i led him to become the founding director for Pūnana Leo O Maui (Hawaiian language immersion school), and to establish his own hālau. His concerts feature fresh and exciting mele and chant, showcasing strong, emotional vocals, while his hālau demonstrates innovative stagings that remain true to traditional Hawaiian roots. Keali’i has been awarded 38 Na Hoku Hanohano awards and received two Grammy nominations, and consistently sells out concerts from Honoka‘a to Honolulu, Seattle to San Diego, Okinawa to Osaka - bringing Hawai‘i’s living culture to people around the world.
