St. John’s Kula Festival will be held Sept. 21, 2019 from 9:00am to 4:00pm at 8992 Kula Highway. This is an upcountry tradition that local families look forward to every year. Besides lovely Keokea with the bicoastal views there will be various live entertainment all day long . There will be ono local food including Portuguese Bean Soup, chow fun, vegan curry, homemade baked goods, fresh Kula produce, flowers, plants, gifts, crafters, silent auction, a quilt show and children’s games. This year there will be a $1 admission-or one can of food for the foodbank- with children under 10 years of age free. Each year the proceeds are shared with different local nonprofits.
