Rosy Simas is looking for five local dancers to perform with her company in her new work, “Weave,” which will be presented at the MACC later this year, on November 14. Improvisation and contemporary dance training are helpful, but not required. If selected, dancers will receive a stipend of $400. Dancers must be available to rehearse with the company. This audition will be lead as a workshop open to the public; you are welcome to attend even if you are not interested in performing.

“Weave” is a dance project drawn from the interwoven and interdependent nature of our world. Individual and embodied stories are the vibrant threads that mesh in a performance woven of story, dance, moving image, and quadraphonic sound.
