Celebrating Hālau Kamaluokaleihulu’s 5th anniversary, and under the direction of Kumu Hula Kahulu Maluo, share a wonderful evening of fellowship, beautiful hula, and the best of Hawai‘i’s music! This year the hālau will share the stage with the beautiful voice of Lorna Lim. Her deep knowledge of hula and her connection to the Big Island’s music tradition place her among Hawai‘i’s living treasures. The hālau also welcomes four-time Nā Hōkū Hanohano Female Vocalist of the Year and Grammy Nominee, Natalie Ai Kamauu, and Kaumakiwa Kanaka‘ole, a charismatic dancer and singer with an impressive vocal range, five Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards, and three solo CDs! Also joining the ladies of Kamaluokaleihulu with the wonderful and powerful music of the evening is the FABulous mistress of ceremonies, Miss Ho`omanawanui Apo!
