Intermediate Stained Glass with Mike Cover at Akamai Art Supply's Classroom

Building on skills taught in our beginning stained glass workshop, this class will take your stained glass art to the next level. We will make a honu (sea turtle) sun catcher that will be approximately 28-30 pieces. Techniques include moderate inside curve cutting, designing the layout for the piece, and choosing the right glass for the project. We will also explore the different glass characteristics such as thickness, brittleness, and ease or difficulty in cutting. A knowledge of basic stained glass techniques are required for this workshop.
